Education in Malaysia is of high standard, be it pre-school
education right up to PhD levels. Good private schools offer a wide
selection of curriculum either from the home country for example
those that adopt the English national curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE
and A-Levels, or even the internationally renowned Baccalaureate
program. Children with special needs can enrol in the Special
Education Integrated Program (SEIP) offered in many private
schools in major cities such as Kuala Lumpur and Penang

Most private schools adopt English as the medium of instruction,
for those using Bahasa Malaysia which is Malaysia’s national
language, tutors are available for local language immersion for the
child. There are various public universities, private higher
educational institutions, polytechnics and community colleges;
hosting international students from more than 100 countries, doing
their Foundation Courses, Certificate and Diploma Studies,
Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degrees and other Professional
Qualifications, quality of which is assured by the Malaysian
Qualifications Agency.
